RAEFORD, NC – A new poll released today by Public Policy Polling shows that Tim D’Annunzio, Republican candidate for Congress in the 8th district of North Carolina, has a clear advantage over his primary challengers.
“Tim D’Annunzio leads the pack with 35% name recognition, followed by Harold Johnson at 31% and Hal Jordan and Lou Huddleston at 26%,” according to a press release by Public Policy Polling.
Tim has been actively campaigning across the 8th district, holding town hall meetings in every county, in addition to running district-wide television ads that began on Monday, January 4th.
“As the only true conservative in this race, voters across the 8th district are beginning to realize that I am the only candidate who will create jobs, lower taxes, and restore the American Dream for future generations,” Tim said. “I’ll continue to fight to replace the politicians in office and bring a true conservative voice to Washington in 2010.”
The television ads will run through the end of January on Fox News and Time Warner’s News Channel 14.
