Tim D’Annunzio Makes His Candidacy Official

RAEFORD, NC – Tim D’Annunzio, Republican candidate for Congress in the 8^th district, today made his candidacy official by filing in Raleigh. Today was the first day of the filing period for federal, state, and local offices.  

“I want voters in the 8^th district to know that I am committed to running for Congress and looking forward to the race ahead,” Tim D’Annunzio said as he filed at the state Board of Elections office in Raleigh.

“I’ve been spending the last five months listening to voters from Fayetteville to Charlotte about the issues that concern them, and letting them know that I am the true conservative candidate in this race. I will work to put an end to out-of-control spending and borrowing against our children’s future.”

As of December 31, Tim led the field with $372,520 cash on hand, putting him in the best financial position of any North Carolina candidate challenging an incumbent Member of Congress.
